Aver adds new board IP cameras to retail solution

Aver is unveiling its brand-new line of IP cameras (network cameras), the 1-megapixel FC1000 and FC1000-1 board cameras. Not only are these innovative IP cameras the perfect choice for covert ATM surveillance, they can also be used in digital signage, offering retailers benefits that go beyond security.

The fixed-lens FC1000 and FC1000-1 both provide HD 720p real-time output and feature 2D & 3D dynamic noise reduction (DNR) that ensures high-quality images even in poor lighting. Both the FC1000 and FC1000-1 are small enough to fit into the palm of a person’s hand, and are distinguished by different designs that ensure that at least one can be installed inside nearly every type of ATM. This unique feature permits unobtrusive tamper-proof monitoring, giving a clear view of the perpetrators during muggings or when stolen ATM cards are used. A second FC1000 or FC1000-1 can be installed to record cash withdrawals, providing evidence that can help resolve disputes or solve crimes. Both cameras also feature privacy masks to obscure customers’ PINs and ensure their privacy.

In addition to monitoring ATMs, the FC1000 and FC1000-1’s extremely compact size and versatile design make them ideal for installation within advertisement monitors, allowing stores to keep track of crowding and implement a digital signage strategy. Digital signage allows stores to keep an eye out for VIP customers they want to especially welcome, or blacklisted customers they want to keep out, and can even be used to alter digital advertisements to better suit customers and passers-by who are within view of the monitor.

Aver’s new board cameras can be used as an essential element of a complete intelligent retail strategy, providing a range of functionality that improves both safety and customer satisfaction. With Aver’s intelligent retail solution, stores are able to enjoy smoother operations and better security than before.
