Automatic Systems opens new factory in France

Automatic Systems, specialists in the automation of secure entrance control, have confirmed the opening of a new production plant in Persan – France.
The new site became operational in September and replaces the current BCA factory located in Chambly.

All the group’s R&D and manufacturing activities for the Outdoor market will be based in Persan. According to the conpany, as the Persan site is made up of over 4.000 m2 in size, Automatic Systems will be able to double its production capacity while speeding up the renewal of its product ranges.

Olivier Guedon, Manager of the Outdoor Business Unit, says: “With the new Persan plant, we are bringing together under one roof a single unified brand for all Automatic Systems outdoor activities to better meet our customers’ needs and respond to the rapidly evolving market trends.”

The activities of service and support Indoor and Outdoor for the French market will also be based in Persan. The close working relationship of these services with the production team is designed to create an enhanced focus on delivering the highest quality service.

Automatic Systems has been designing and manufacturing pedestrian, vehicle and passenger access systems for over 40 years. The company has a global presence, with subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and North America, as well as a vast international network of distributors.
