Asia's first ISIS themed conference

Singapore

One of Asia's largest security conferences, Global Security Asia 2015, will focus on the new Asian threat landscape. The theme of the GSA 2015 conference will cover the current and emerging Asian threats and discuss how Asian Governments are responding.

With the rise of ISIS and the declaration of an Islamic State, a new Asian threat landscape is rapidly emerging. The al Qaeda centric threat is fading and a coordinated al Qaeda-ISIS hybrid threat landscape is emerging. With the spread of ISIS ideology in Asia, the operational threat to the region is increasing dramatically. ISIS and their supporters seek to destabilize governments and attack host targets.

GSA 2015 has brought together a specialist team of practitioners and scholars to examine the new Asian threats. Speakers from the US, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore will review the evolving threats and share with the delegates both government and community strategies designed to mitigate the threats.  Some of the Keynote Speakers include Dr. Rohan Gunaratna and   Major General Dr Tito Karnavian.

GSA 2015 will again aim to provide all attendees with the perfect platform for business and industry networking for relevant Government Agencies, Decision Makers, Exhibitors, Regional VIP’s , Delegates and Visitors all under one roof.
