Asia Pacific region high priority market for homeland security

Singapore

The Global Security Asia Series presents a counter-terrorism platform for the Homeland Security Industry in the Asia Pacific Region. It addresses the fundamental issues of global terrorism. It is an international platform for Governments and Industry to meet and share experiences and to discuss the use of state-of the art technologies and equipment to meet the current and future threats. The 4th Global Security Asia will take place in Singapore from 15th -17th March 2011. The organisers, GSA Exhibitions Ptd Ltd have announced that the event will include eight national pavilions, including Australia, China, France, Israel, Republic of Korea, UK, USA and Singapore.
With around seven months to the opening , the organisers state that over 1200 square metres of space has already been sold to both regular and new exhibitors wishing to showcase their latest products and services in the fast growing Asia Pacific market.

With many Homeland Security markets in the Western World under pressure due to the recession, the Asia Pacific market with current surpluses and sustainable economies, has now become a "high priority" region for companies marketing Homeland Security products and services.

The GSA series is designed to attract the international security and intelligence communities drawn from governments, academia, research and industry who will share their experiences, knowledge and expertise in tackling the asymmetric problems currently facing many governments around the world.
