Designed with a focus on aesthetics and functionality the product was introduced just a few months ago at ASIS in Dallas, where the SU5000 received rave reviews customer demand began to grow. The clamor for the SU5000 is due to its highly attractive design, instantaneous barrier response time and a host of aesthetic and functional features.

Cabinets measure in at a trim 3.8" wide, making it the thinnest optical barrier turnstile available. The slim footprint takes up very little floor space and the use of clear barrier and side panels provides clear sightlines and the ability to blend into any design."The SU5000 is an architectural product that integrates into virtually any lobby," said Bret Armatas, Alvarado president. The door-like, swinging barriers of the SU5000 are controlled by quiet, powerful motors that open the barriers fast enough for rapidly moving pedestrians. Visual and audible prompts help guide users through the lanes quickly and efficiently. Superior detection capabilities excel at identifying "tailgaters" and can differentiate between an unauthorized pedestrian versus a cart or rolling suitcase.

The Supervisor 5000 also features a myriad of options that provide the flexibility to create truly unique entry control solutions tailored to each environment. Customers can select options such as LED accent lighting in a variety of colors, logo etching of barrier and/or side panels, and custom cabinet and lid materials are available. Swinging barrier panels can be ordered at waist height, mid height or full height and in standard or disabled access widths to accommodate any application. Larger barrier sizes do not increase the cabinet size, so the footprint remains very slim to maximize lanes per square foot.

Like all Alvarado optical turnstile products, the SU5000 integrates with Alvarado's Gatekeeper monitoring and control software. Gatekeeper eliminates clunky desktop control panels by allowing the control, administration and monitoring of multiple optical turnstiles from a single PC.
