Airlive wireless routers IPv6-ready

Taipei, Taiwan

Airlive has released two IPv6 ready products recently, the Airlive N450R and WN-220ARM, which need no modifications or preparation as they support IPv4 and IPv6.
As the successor to the current Internet Protocol, IPv4 and IPv6, is critical to the Internet's continued growth as a platform for innovation and economic development. The differences between IPv6 and IPv4 are in five major areas: (1) addressing and routing, (2) security, (3) network address translation, (4) administrative workload, and (5) support for mobile devices. IPv6 also includes an important feature: a set of possible migration and transition plans from IPv4. IPv6 will allow the internet to support many more devices by greatly increasing the number of possible addresses.

Airlive N450R is an all-in-one 3T3R wireless 450Mbps concurrent dual band broadband router with USB slots for USB storage, 3G USB modem support, network downloader, Samba Server, FTP server and Green technology in a sleek, compact desktop design. It also features Gigabit LAN and WAN ports that provide faster speed. It is a beam forming router, which is the new wireless technology to expand the coverage in the multi-level homes and offices. As it utilises "directional sensing" and "multi-path" techniques to achieve this purpose; the technology is able to deliver the fastest speed and widest indoor coverage at multi-level and multi-wall environments.

Airlive WN-220ARM is the perfect centre of a home or business wireless network, it offers speed, security and simplicity. The device is fully compatible with 802.11 b / g / n.
