Airlive 5 megapixel IP box camera with POE

Taipei, Taiwan

Airlive has introduced its first 5 megapixel box type IP camera, the Airlive POE-5010HD. It is designed for delivering high definition video stream across a local area network. The 5 megapixel resolution provides an outstanding level of video quality and it suits applications where more detailed information is needed.
The Airlive POE-5010HD is equipped with a built in removable IR-cut filter which also allows night vision. One of the advantages of this camera is the several different lens options available such as 4mm, varifocal or Tamron varifocal auto iris lenses. With the IP66 enclosure and additional IR LED it can also be used in outdoor environments. This camera is also equipped with an SD/SDHC slot for local storage as well as a DIDO connector for integrating external sensors or alarms. The camera can therefore be used in many different locations under different conditions, potentially making it an ideal choice for either small or large IP surveillance systems.

The new camera is equipped with a 5 megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensor that can capture sharper images than older-style sensors. But it is also able to function in 3, 2 or 1 megapixel resolutions. It is able to provide more detailed information per frame for example, for face or foreign object detection. When connected to an external microphone and speaker the camera can perform a two-way audio function.

The Airlive POE-5010HD is compliant with the ONVIF standard which means that it is compatible with other products supporting this standard.
