Aimetis sets focus on Brazil

Sao Paulo, Brazil

Aimetis Corp., a global player in intelligent network video management software was exhibited at ISC Brazil earlier last week with new product launches and the news that the company is opening a new office in Sao Paulo. The show took place from March 10 - 12, in Expo Center Norte, Pavilion Verde, São Paulo, Brazil.

During the show, Aimetis showcased Aimetis Symphony intelligent video management software, advancements to the range of Physical Security Appliances (PSA) and improvements to Aimetis Thin Client.

The latest software update to Aimetis Thin Client features the ability to connect directly to network cameras which provides the flexibility to use Thin Client with or without Aimetis Symphony. Aimetis Enterprise Manager, the cloud-based IT management tool for multi-site video deployments were also on show. These products can be used across many industries including banking, education, retail, and transportation.

Also at the show, Aimetis launched the Aimetis Outdoor Motion Detection application, which provides reliable outdoor people and vehicle detection for Axis network cameras and encoders. The application is installable on qualified Axis network video products and is ideal for outdoor environments that require reliable object detection despite constraints on budgets, bandwidth, and IT infrastructure.

Another exciting development for Aimetis is the new corporate office in São Paulo. This office will house sales and support staff and provide Aimetis with a South American Headquarters to properly support the growing market in Brazil and neighbouring countries.

“I am very excited to be exhibiting at ISC Brazil 2015. This is the largest and most important trade show in the region. Brazil and its neighbouring countries are a key growth market for Aimetis in 2015 and beyond,” said David Almasi, VP of Global Sales of Aimetis, during the show. “Our highly experienced sales and support team look forward to supporting our industry leading products to both channel partners and end users.”
