Aimetis awarded CPNI trademark

Waterloo, Canada

The Aimetis Corp flagship video management software, Aimetis Symphony, has received the distinguished CPNI trademark.

The Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) recently tested Aimetis Symphony against the rigorous CPNI performance standards for video analytics. The evaluation determined that Aimetis Symphony successfully met the requirements of the CPNI Video Analytics Assessment programme.

The CPNI provides protective security advice to businesses and organisations across the national infrastructure. They offer advice on physical security, personnel security and cyber security/information assurance. As part of this advice CPNI assures a wide range of physical security products for use on critical national infrastructure (CNI) projects. Those security products that successfully complete the CPNI evaluation will be included in CSE.

“A CPNI approved test house has carried out an evaluation of Aimetis Symphony. The test results have been assessed by the CPNI panel and Aimetis Symphony has met the requirements to be included in the Catalogue of Security Equipment (CSE),” CPNI stated.

“We are pleased to have passed the extensive evaluation process conducted by CPNI,” said Justin Schorn, VP of Product Management at Aimetis. “This designation validates the effort our team has made to make Aimetis Symphony the best VMS on the market. Security professionals can be confident it has passed a rigorous approval process and will provide them with very high performance.”

Aimetis Symphony is an award-winning intelligent video surveillance software suite that offers a single, innovative, open IP video platform for video management, video analytics, system integration and alarm management.
