AES Intellinet wins NPS award

Peabody, MA (USA)

AES-IntelliNet's new AES-7094 IntelliPro full data module won first place at ISC West in Las Vegas for Best in Residential and Monitoring Solutions.

Eighty five products and services were entered in the New Products Showcase (NPS) competition and they were presented in 15 categories. The NPS is an awards-based marketing program in the Security industry and is held annually in conjunction with ISC West.

According to Tom Kenty, General Manager for AES-IntelliNet and presenter of the product, the AESIntelliPro
will now allow dealers the ability to remotely program popular burglar alarm panels through AES-IntelliNet mesh radio networks with no monthly fees and it will work with numerous alarm control panel makes and models. The AES-7094 IntelliPro transmits full CID and pulse formats from the alarm panel through the AES-IntelliNet radio network to the central station for processing. Kenty had this to say about the award, "We are very appreciative of the way our technology was received by the esteemed
group of judges and the level of importance that they placed on the release of the AES-7094 IntelliPro to
the industry."

Michael Sherman, CEO and president for AES Corporation was there to accept the award, "We are proud that our technology has received the validation it deserves. We are also grateful to the judges for recognizing not only the reliability, usability and quality of this product but also the value and the impact that AES-7094 IntelliPro will have on the security industry and the market, especially considering the technological uncertainty and changes we are facing."

According to the company, the AES-IntelliNet's alarm system is a self healing, long range wireless mesh radio communication network and works in conjunction with the Internet to provide customers the ability to monitor alarms in multiple regions from one location, without recurring monthly communications costs or infrastructure fees typically associated with remote monitoring. The AES-IntelliNet mesh network also offers a more reliable,
faster means of communicating alarm signals to central monitoring stations without relying on telephone lines or cellular services that are vulnerable to line cuts, weather conditions, radio jamming, and recurring monthly costs.
