ACT were showcasing their wide range of access control and door entry solutions including the ACTpro product suite. The ACTpro products include IP based door controllers and readers based on Mifare reading technologies, including the recently released mifare DESFire EV1 readers. Visitors to the ACT stand were able to view recent enhancements to the ACTpro software application including Sitemaps and ACT Web, the exciting Web based version of the ACTwin software.

ACT shared their stand with Magnetic Solutions, a company that produces a large range of electromagnetic and permanent locks, door hold magnets, solenoids and access control for use in door locking, holding doors open and many other uses.

Intersec 2011 took place from the 16th – 18th January at the Convention Gate in Dubai and with over 800 exhibitors it is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition and conference for security and safety in the Middle East.
