Hisharp debuts HDTVI cameras at Ifsec
Taoyuang, Taiwan
Designed to increase the degree of image capture, it offers a wider area to enhance monitoring accuracy. This series of cameras utilises a DC/manual (C/CS-mount) lens and performs 30x sense up via the image sensor. Each of the HDTVI and HD-SDI cameras has a built in removable IR-cut filter for good performance in both day and night mode. The Hisharp HD cameras have been designed with de-fog and mirror functions widening the range of potential applications.
Both series of cameras offer a dual power (AC24V / DC12V) input to suit most power sources at different sites. The cameras can be controlled by remote controller via an RS485 interface. Both HDTVI and HD-SDI can transfer HD signal @720p/1080p, but the HDTVI version has a distinguished advantage in terms of transmission distance. With general transmission media, HD-SDI video reaches 100 metres at most, while HDTVI transmits 500 metres, at least, by using 5C/2V cable and featuring low signal distortion rate.
In comparison with many network cameras based on Ethernet which may suffer from network jitter and packet loss, the HDTVI features P2P transmission ensuring a smooth and reliable transmission. Although these network cameras feature video buffering technology to control the delay to within 300 milliseconds in general under fair networking conditions, the HDTVI features a no latency capability engineered for an outstanding real-time performance. Thus, without video compression, the HDTVI solution maintains its original video and is able to present it in vivid image quality.
The HSTVI Hisharp HDTVI solution is capable of working with existing analogue devices under the same configuration and cabling, it is designed as an easy and quick solution to upgrade an analogue system to an HD system.
