Etrovision’s EV8180F is an HDTV-quality camera with Day & Night functionality which is ideal for 24H video surveillance applications where sharp, clear detail is required.

In terms of coverage, its 5MP (2592x1944) resolution is approximately 16.4 times that of conventional VGA resolution (640x480). With H.264 main profile and progressive scan CMOS sensor, the EV8180F camera delivers flawless, clear and smooth image quality with excellent color performance. Eight independently streaming ROI (Region of Interest) and triple codec (H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG) provides the flexibility of focusing on specific areas while minimizing network traffic and storage needs. Furthermore, the broad coverage of the 5MP sensor with ROI enables individual auto exposure control which substantially improves image quality in complicated lighting environments.

The IVS function supports facial recognition enabling recording when targeted individuals are detected. This feature can be used to analyze and manage a large number of objects (staff or products) moving in and out of an area. The EV8180F is ideal for outdoor applications such as parking lots and residential complexes where the Day & Night function guarantees exceptional performance in low light conditions.

The EV8180F supports PoE providing savings and convenience from decreasing cabling required for installation. The camera also has a 32G SDHC card slot allowing recording to local storage for an extended period of time.
