The Hiqview HIQ-5386 is equipped with a 1/2.7" 2 megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensor component designed to perform with all-IP architecture. The built-in open platform web server provides real time video through an internet browser from remote sites.

The images are compressed into H.264/ MJPEG formats that are available in multiple resolutions: 1920x1080/ 1280x720/ 640x480/ 320x240/ 176x144. It is possible for users to select a suitable streaming format based on the users individual bandwidth resources.

The aluminum housing design is compliant to IP66 standards against water and dust ingress in outdoor environments. The built-in vari-focal lens (3 ~ 9mm @ F1.8) and 18 IR-LEDs not only help to make an easy installation, but also make clearer images clear both during the day and at night with its auto IR-cut filter mechanism and the IR illumination of up to 15 metres distance.

The network configuration of the camera has been engineered to be easy and hassle-free. An installation tool is provided with the HIQ-5386 IP so once an internet connection is applied the camera can be automatically located. It is eqiupped with an analogue video output facility, making it possible to connect the IP camera directly to a local analogue monitor. The HIQ-5386 is also designed to support 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) for ease of installation meaning no additional power lines are needed, which consequently helps to reduce costs of implementation.

HIQ-5386 provides various surveillance functions including alarm, SD card local storage, and 2 way audio. The GUI design is based on a user-friendly principle and additionally the HIQ-5386 comes with a free NVR software, offering the user the possibility to create their own video surveillance and system management from a PC.

The HIQ-5386 has been ideally produced for open environment outdoor installations where high level surveillance is important day and night, 24/7.
