The HIQ-6391 is equipped with 1/2.7” CMOS sensor and has an all-IP architecture. The built-in web server open platform provides remote users with real time video through an internet browser.

It deploys a 4.9~ 49mm, 10X optical zoom lens is motorised meaning that the lens actually physically lengthens and shortens when zooming. By using an actual lens adjustment, the 10X optical zoom function allows the HIQ-6391 to produce real and clearer images in high resolution.

The images can be compressed into two formats: H.264 and MJPEG. Multiple resolutions are available: 1920*1080 / 1280*720 / 640*480 / 320*240 / 176*144. Under full HD resolution, the HIQ-6391 can create effective quality images at 30fps@1080p real-time. Users can choose a suitable streaming format to meet different environmental conditions. 

The built in smart focus / auto focus / step focus functions make the HIQ-6391 a more professional and unique choice compared to many other outdoor IP cameras in the security market. For example, with smart focus, users are able to draw a square area on the screen image which they would like to focus on. And then the built in smart focus would clearly focus on the chosen area and show a clear image. By using auto focus, the HIQ-6391 could be made to focus automatically on a moving object and for example on a large object which occupies over 50% of the screen image, in advance. By using step focus, users are able to set up manually a focus area nearby or at a distance on the screen image from the HIQ-6391.

The smart focus / auto focus / step focus system allows users to have a more flexible control on the lens of HIQ-6391, and it provides a usesr friendly GUI for fine tuning the focal distance. Finally, the smart focus / auto focus / step focus system may also allow for easier adjustments and installation.

The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) feature of HIQ-6391 stands out when monitoring strong backlight or dimly lit environments. For example, if the camera is facing the sun, and a man is standing in front of the camera, usually, because of the strong backlight, the man’s face would be too dark to identify. The WDR technology would use different exposures for different objects, making the light contrast much lower, and thus reveal the clear features of the man’s face.

Image noise can be caused by many factors, such as power interference, heat, and dim light sources, resulting in ineffective surveillance work. The HIQ-6391 removes image noises by applying DNR technology. It not only makes clearer images, but also reduces video file size.

When the sun goes down, it is difficult for typical outdoor cameras to create clear images. The built-in 30M light source IR LEDs enable clear images under bad lighting condition. The HIQ-6391, an IR camera, is capable of generating effective pictures in dark environments. IR technology can detect heat emitted from objects, making it a powerful tool to identify essential elements at night, such as people and vehicles.

The HIQ-6391 has a robust housing rated as IP66, meaning that it is water-proof and dust-proof and is reliable for monitoring outdoor environments.

The network deployment of HIQ-6391 is very simple as it is provided with an installation tool which searches for devices that are already connected to the internet. This feature alleviates the inconvenience of complex network settings.

PoE technology enables power and internet connection to be provided by the same cable. Therefore, not only are power outlets no longer needed, but more importantly, the space required to install the IP surveillance system is minimized, and the cost is also reduced sharply.

The HIQ-6391 is bundled with a powerful VMS software, which supplies users with omni-bearing video management and surveillance. Hiqview Vision software is bundled free with the company's IP cameras, and it is capable of managing up to 64 IP cameras.

This camera is made with day/night dual-purpose, and is suitable for monitoring open environments and important entry points, such as parking lots, bank lobbies, retail stores, and train stations.
