Prosero Security has acquired Göteborgs Lås- & Nyckelverkstad, a third-generation, family-owned company that has been part of Gothenburg’s business community since 1951. As the latest in a number of companies to join Prosero in 2026, the addition will further develop the group’s offering and local presence in Sweden.

Göteborgs Lås- & Nyckelverkstad has more than 70 years of experience and has established a strong market position and significant local trust in western Sweden. It maintains a stable customer base and has created a business culture that fits well with Prosero’s values and way of working. With a shop and office strategically located close to central Gothenburg, the firm has developed an excellent local reputation with its customers.

“We’re very happy to welcome Göteborgs Lås- & Nyckelverkstad to Prosero,” noted Andreas Westin, Country Manager for Prosero Sweden. “It’s a well-managed company with an enthusiastic, committed team, so it’s a great fit for us. Western Sweden is an important region for Prosero, and with the addition of Göteborgs Lås- & Nyckelverkstad, we can build further on our strengths as a group.”

“When you’ve run a family company for generations, you take the choice of a new business partner seriously. For us, it was important to find someone who respects how we’ve built our operations, and who can give us new opportunities for development. We found these qualities in Prosero. We can continue to maintain our valuable, long-term relationships, and at the same time, we’ll have access to a broader range of services and new opportunities. This means that we can develop our customer offering and create even more value for our customers in the future,” explained Johan Zätterberg, CEO and owner, and Susanna Bodén, owner, Göteborgs Lås- & Nyckelverkstad.
