Prosero has acquired Uppsala Säkerhetsteknik AB in Uppsala and with it gained geographical presence in another important location and in an exciting emerging market. Uppsala Säkerhetsteknik has a broad customer offering in locking and access control systems, fire alarms, burglar alarms, camera surveillance, and computer network and electrical installations.

Uppsala Säkerhetsteknik was founded in 2004 by Fredrik Jansson and Johan Wennertorp. They offer complete security solutions to local and regional authorities, companies, property owners, and industries in the surrounding area. Long-term collaborations with both customers and partners, combined with new relationships, have created a stable customer base and given Uppsala Säkerhetsteknik a market-leading position. Sales are driven by both tender-based projects and aftermarket services, where a majority of sales are based on service and framework agreements. The twelve employees are based at the head office in central Uppsala. In 2021, the company had sales of almost SEK 27 million.

“Uppsala Säkerhetsteknik’s business concept is to offer the highest level of security and the best service. This has led us to the strong market position and loyal customer base that we have today. As part of Prosero, in the future we will continue to be able to run the business in the same way, under the same brand, and with the same competent staff,” says Fredrik Jansson, CEO, Uppsala Säkerhetsteknik. “We retain local leadership and continue to offer the high level of service that our customers are used to. Through new collaborations with strong companies within Prosero, we get more opportunities for development that will contribute to our growth. We look forward to many new and exciting collaborations in the future.”

“We are proud to welcome Uppsala Säkerhetsteknik to Prosero. They will contribute with their expertise and in a location where we have not previously had a local presence and we see excellent opportunities to collaborate internally within the group,” says Johan Norrbrink at Prosero. “Their desire to be a real support for customers and high level of focus on service is completely consistent with Prosero's philosophy. They will fit in very well with the organisation.”
