Prosero expands presence in Norway with new acquisition

Stockholm, Sweden and Lofoten, Norway

Prosero is strengthening its presence in northern Norway through the acquisition of Lofoten Låsservice AS. Lofoten Låsservice offers full-service solutions for lock and access control systems as well as door automation, alarms, and CCTV. The acquisition is part of Prosero’s strategy to enhance its position in the Norwegian market.

Founded in 1989, Lofoten Låsservice is a traditional locksmithing operation, specialising in mechanical and electromechanical lock systems, access control, entry automation, intrusion alarms, and CCTV. The company focuses on high-quality, tailored solutions, featuring in-house production and installation services that have enabled Lofoten Låsservice to develop competitive offerings. Its broad customer base includes housing cooperatives, municipalities, construction companies, and property owners and maintenance providers.

Sales are driven by new construction and renovation projects combined with aftersales service and maintenance. Lofoten Låsservice has developed well and its strong order book indicates continued progress. In 2022, the company had a turnover of NOK 11 million. Its five employees work from Gravdal, Lofoten in northern Norway.
