Prosero acquires Hemer in Oslo, Norway

Prosero is bolstering its position in the Oslo region through the acquisition of Hemer Lås & Dørtelefon AS. Established in 1978, Hemer Lås & Dørtelefon AS focuses primarily on service and aftersales, offering a wide selection of locks, access control and entry intercom systems, door automation and camera surveillance.

The company has secured a strong market position; many years of successful cooperation have resulted in an attractive customer base, and Hemer Lås & Dørtelefon enjoys good business relationships with Oslo Municipality, several property companies and others.

Hemer Lås & Dørtelefon had a turnover of NOK 33 million in 2020 and has 16 employees working from the company’s offices on Tåsenveien in Oslo.

“All of us at Hemer Lås & Dørtelefon AS are pleased and proud that the company is joining Prosero. We see so many advantages in becoming part of something bigger. We’ll have access to competence that we’d like to add from other areas of the industry, and we’re also looking forward to sharing our expertise. What drew us to Prosero was the fact that we can operate the company as before, under the same name – as well as the possibility to reinvest in Prosero and thus continue as owners. We are excited about the next steps and collaboration with others in the group,” says Arne Hemer, founder and owner of Hemer Lås & Dørtelefon AS.

“We’re so proud to welcome Hemer Lås & Dørtelefon to Prosero. It’s a very strong brand with a great reputation, and the company will play an essential role in growing our business in Oslo,” explained Andreas Setting, country manager for Prosero Norway.
