Thomas Jensen, CEO of Milestone Systems, is looking forward to welcoming the new Chief People & Culture Officer.
“Hardip Sohi-Bains comes with solid global experience in the people first philosophy while managing organisational change, leadership and business. She will be a great asset in our efforts to further strengthen Milestone’s growth journey, focusing on engagement and talent management,” says CEO Thomas Jensen.
Milestone Systems develops and sells market leading video management software, used worldwide for everything from traffic management and airports to companies, schools, and hospitals. When opportunity knocked, Hardip Sohi-Bains was sure that Milestone would be her next destination.
“I am very excited about Milestone’s People First strategy, the strong focus on Responsible Technology, the level of innovation and the growth ambition. People must be at the core of everything we do, creating opportunities to grow professionally and personally. I see Milestone as a company that in everyday thinks and works with People First in mind,” says Hardip Sohi-Bains.
From UK to Denmark
From a position as HR Director at Rambøll UK, the Leicester-born British national moved to Denmark in 2017 to work at the Rambøll headquarters, first as Head of HR Transformation and Group Functions and later as Global Head of Human Resources for Corporate Functions.
“I was so excited about the Scandinavian HR-mindset of empowering people that I did not think twice when I had the opportunity to move to Denmark – and I must say I have not regretted it,” she says.
For Hardip Sohi-Bains, the song “You’ll Never Walk Alone” is not only the anthem of Liverpool Football Club and her favourite tune as a die-hard Liverpool fan. The words also describe the purpose and promise of her new role as Chief People & Culture Officer at Milestone.
“The People First culture is characterised by principles of freedom, inclusion, and a strong sense of togetherness,” explains Hardip Sohi-Bains.
Hardip Sohi-Bains' first day at Milestone will be on June 15th, when the new Chief People & Culture Officer will also join the Executive Leadership Team.
