Powered by Idis Deep Learning Engine and compatible with Idis Deep Learning Analytics, this simple add-on appliance is compatible with existing DirectIP® plug-and-play IDIS cameras and NVRs.

The DV-2232 was launched by Idis at the peak of the 2020 pandemic to enable buildings to remain open, and to keep visitors and staff safe. Designed and manufactured in South Korea, its development was driven by first-hand understanding of how - even before vaccines were available - virus outbreaks could be minimized, and transmission rates suppressed with measures that included changes to the way people were admitted to premises. But crucially, the DV-2232 was designed very much with the post-pandemic world in mind too. Unlike many of the ‘quick-fix’ offerings that emerged during 2020 – most notably some thermal cameras that proved to be of questionable value - the AI Box was developed as a genuine infrastructure upgrade.
