The Red Dot Award is an internationally recognised seal of quality for outstanding design. An esteemed international panel of experts evaluates entries on innovation, functionality, formal quality, and ecological compatibility criteria.
"It’s an honour to be acknowledged by the Red Dot Awards again. We believe great design goes beyond aesthetics, making technology approachable, intuitive, and meaningful. Our mission is to develop innovative products that meet today’s needs and enhance daily life. These awards celebrate the people behind our products and push us to continue building solutions that resonate with users," commented Valentine Hrytsenko, CMO at Ajax Systems.
This is not the first time that Ajax products have achieved recognition in these awards. In 2024, Ajax Systems won in three categories for its intrusion detection and home automation solutions.
This year's winner, the Bulletcam, is a wired AI-powered security IP camera that flips the script on video surveillance. This device is designed not only to monitor, but its minimalistic design also helps to enhance the aesthetic of modern architecture. And the sleek aluminum enclosure with an IP65 protection rating ensures durability and weather resistance.
The device provides 4K UHD, offering sharp and detailed images. Whether day or night, even in low-light conditions, footage promises to be clear thanks to True WDR technology and smart IR illumination. The NPU in Ajax Bulletcam can recognise people, animals, and vehicles. Notifications can be adjusted to show meaningful events while ignoring routine occurrences. Video archives can be optimised by setting up the pixel movement detection feature. And, specific zones can be defined to ensure recordings are triggered only when movement occurs in the selected area. This conserves space and streamlines archive navigation.
The device provides complete owner control over CCTV via a special privacy menu. Users can determine which accounts can view, save, and manage specific video streams. In addition, privacy zones can be manually configured to hide sensitive areas while everything around them is still recorded.
