The systems are designed specifically for military and first responder EOD and Counter-IED teams and are in use throughout the world.

The Threatscan-LSC is a combination package including a large format Threatscan-LS1 panel, a compact Threatscan-LS3 panel with back-pack, tablet PC imaging station and the I-Gen generator for rapid field deployment.

The large 600mm x 460mm imaging area of the LS1 panel enables the operator to scan typical bags and packages in a single scan.

The smaller 305mm x 256mm LS3 panel enables the operator to access and scan objects within confined areas, whilst still being able to scan suspect items in a single scan.

These systems can penetrate up to 34mm steel at 120kV while producing high quality, sub-millimetre resolution images.

The tablet PC imaging station includes 3DX-Ray’s market-leading image processing software with a range of sophisticated image processing functions; including materials discrimination, pan, zoom, Deepfocus, 3D Emboss, measurement and annotation, enabling the operator to interpret the image quickly and accurately.

And finally, the I-Gen generator, a portable and robust x-ray generator.
