CFPA International og CFPA Europe er to organisationer på henholdsvis globalt og europæisk niveau, som samarbejder om forskning, udvikling og vidensdeling inden for brand og sikring. DBI er et af 16 nationale institutter, der er medlem af CFPA Europe.

DBI-direktør udnævnt til Vice-Chairman i CFPA International
DBI’s adm. direktør, Jesper Ditlev, er blevet udnævnt til Vice-Chairman i den internationale brandorganisation, Confederation of Fire Associations-International (CFPA-I). Han er i forvejen formand for CFPA Europe.
