Pixim, Inc. is a Silicon Valley based company with expertise in designing chipsets for security cameras and Sony aims to utilise their Image Sensor technologies and engineering design expertise to further strengthen its global design and support functions.
Pixim, Inc. will play an important role for Sony’s image sensor semiconductor business as a subsidiary of Sony Electronics. More information will be shared in the coming months.

Sony agrees to acquire Pixim

John Monti. Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Pixim, Inc has released a statement confirming that an agreement has been reached whereby Sony Electronics Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of Sony Corporation will acquire Pixim Inc.
