Marketed as one of the most compact door monitoring systems in the world is the digital door fitting Smarthandle with door monitoring for the new product line Smartintego, the system solution for integrated access control. The door monitoring function reliably transfers security-critical information to the control centre, such as "Door open" or "Door shut", "Door lock secured" or "Not locked". Even exceeded time limits on an open door or a forced break-in are detected and reported.

Smartintego Smarthandle uses a contactless system to communicate with identification media via the card reader integrated into the fitting. It can be installed in just a few minutes without any wiring in the door or drilling.

With its Smartintego product line, Simonsvoss provides an optimum solution for the seamless integration of the access control system into an entire building management system. In addition to the digital door fitting Smarthandle, further elements are the digital Smartintego locking cylinder, the PIN code keypad, the padlock and the Gatewaynote.
