The list put together by Ifsec international names 40 of the most influential people in the global security industry from hundreds of names suggested to them. The eventual winners were all noted for the significant contributions they have made to their respective sectors, and 13 of those chosen are members of the Security Institute. All of them have made a significant personal contribution for the benefit of those working in security, in some cases over many years. Three of the top ten are members, number one is a member and the Security Institute Chairman, Emma Shaw, was voted number two.
