Remsdaq and Chemtrols win contract for Indian Power Grid

Remsdaq's Indian Business Partner, Chemtrols Industries Ltd, has been awarded a contract for the supply of 238 Substation RTUs for Indian Power Grid's new Eastern Regional Load Despatch Centre.
The 400kV, 220kV and 132kV substations involved in the contract will be equipped with over 600 Remsdaq Callistonx series Utility Controllers to form concentrated, distributed and intelligent SRTUs, meeting ERLDC's operational requirements. This is one of many projects, currently being undertaken by Chemtrols, using Remsdaq Callistonx series SCADA products.

As a certified IEC61850 compliant system, with extensive legacy protocol support, Callistonx , offers an extremely flexible, powerful and cost-effective solution to the many SCADA, substation and advanced distribution automation applications at various voltage levels in the electricity supply industry.

The Callistonx single product, multiple application architecture, ensures that it can be equally applied to a simple pole top RTU, through to a fully integrated EHV Substation Automation System, using the same flexible hardware and user friendly configuration tools. User advantages include common spares holding and multi-service product knowledge.
