Pixim signs up yet another distributor for the Chinese market

According to the South China Morning Post, China's surveillance and equipment market is projected to grow to USD 33.9B in 2009, a growth of 381 percent since 2006.
RTI will distribute Pixim's complete digital imaging system, which consists of a family of image sensors, image processors, camera reference design kits, and key software and algorithms that allow camera developers to easily design and build high-quality, advanced-featured cameras.
"For Pixim, RTI is well positioned to address the fast-expanding demand for our Orca chipsets and camera reference design kits in the PRC," says Alfred Chou, Pixim's sales and marketing manager for Greater China "RTI will generate sales and provide application engineering services and technical support to manufacturers throughout Greater China who are looking to deliver Pixim chipset-enabled security cameras"
With the addition of RTI, Pixim now has five strong representatives across China and Taiwan. Pixim's other representatives are BridgeHub and SEED Electronic Technology in China and Weikeng Industrial Co. Ltd. and Johnmarc Industrial Corporation in Taiwan.
