Over 70 attendees at Dahua innovation day

Dublin, Ireland and Maidenhead, Berkshire (UK)

After the keynote speech, attendees visited the demo pods to gain some hands-on product experience.

Dahua UK & Ireland’s very first Innovation Day in 2020 kicked off successfully in Dublin on 25th February, demonstrating the company’s cutting-edge technologies, products and solutions to the local market, while at the same time sharing insights into market trends. Over 70 visitors attended the event and the feedback of Dahua’s vision and innovation capabilities were highly positive.

With the theme “Driving Innovation to an AIoT Future”, Dahua’s Innovation Days aim to deliver the latest industry insights and technologies, as well as useful and practical real-life problem-solving solutions. There were two main demonstrations: one focusing on key products, including the latest core product series Wizsense (AI), HDCVI 6.0 and Full-Colour, as well as scenario-defined cameras, multi-sensor and panoramic cameras. The other focus was on verticals, such as safe cities, transportation and other solutions for enterprise parks/industrial estates, etc., all of which raised a great deal of interest from customers.

During the show, Dahua made several informative presentations, sharing its brand strategy and market policy, as well as introducing training and post-sales support. The presentations continued with Simon Nash, Senior Project Sales Manager, elaborating on AIoT, scenario-based solutions and Dahua’s product roadmap demonstrating how Dahua’s industry leading AIoT solutions add value to existing and new installations whilst offering new opportunities for our partners and end users.

After the keynote speech, attendees visited the demo pods to gain some hands-on product experience. A new training session called “Engineering Corner” also formed part of the day, in which Jay Spengeman, Technical Trainer for Ireland who has many years of installation experience, demonstrated to attendees some practical IP and HDCVI installation skills. These included cameras able to transmit over long distances using Cat5 and coax cable, which has been made possible using Dahua’s EPoE and PoC products which help to solve real-life problems.

Dahua has said that it will donate £10 on behalf of each of visitor in aid of three charity organisations related to the environment, healthcare and good causes for children. Visitors can choose which charity they wish to support in the hope of making our world a greener place.

Dahua’s Innovation Days will be held over the course of a month. The forthcoming tour stops are Cork on 27th February, Wolverhampton on 3rd March, Cardiff on 10th March, Glasgow on 17th March, Manchester on 24th March and London on 2nd April.
