New security consultancy business formed by industry veterans

Two high profile members of the security community are merging their security consultancy businesses. Mike O'Neill of Greymans and Professor Martin Gill of Perpetuity Consultancy have formed Optimal Risk Group.
The aim of Optimal is to become an international focal point for the effective delivery of risk and security consultancy.

Mike O'Neill who will be the Managing Director of Optimal Risk said: "This merger allows us to offer our clients a broader range of risk management consultancy services and capabilities underpinned by our considerable experience in this field. Merging two great businesses provides a unique opportunity for Optimal Risk to become the definitive risk and security consultancy."

Professor Martin Gill reflecting on the 'rare opportunity' stated: "We see direct benefits for clients in the ability to draw upon a broader range of skill sets, as well as more services and products. There are also many advantages derived by blending experience gained from working with clients across varied sectors with diverse risk and security needs. This is an exciting time."

Services will include risk and security consultancy, information security consultancy, business intelligence and compliance, investigations and litigation support and protective services.

The new business will include all the work of Greymans and all the security consultancy work of Perpetuity Consultancy. Perpetuity Training and Perpetuity Research will remain separate but will collaborate with Optimal Risk as appropriate.
