Geutebrück updates its security management software.
Geutebrück is offering a new software upgrade for their GeViSoft security management software which is designed to make system breakdowns a thing of the past in prisons, central banks, ministries, and high-tech R&D departments and other highly sensitive sites. Using standard TCP/IP protocols and running on conventional computer infrastructure GeViSoft security management software is deployed in large or complex installations to bring together security solutions of all kinds and all ages into one common configuration and operating environment.
The new redundancy package provides software duplication as well as intelligent monitoring and redundancy management functions. It enables multiple servers to manage multiple software clients, and all servers to observe each other. On the time any failure is detected, the functions are transferred from that component to another so that individual failures, be they software problems or hard disk, power or processor failures, no longer lead to system breakdowns.
