The new surface-mounted, multi-resistor, MST is seen by Elmdene as being an extremely capable addition to its extensive magnetic contact range for door protection and readily meets the rigorous requirements of EN50131-2-6:2008 Grade 2 and Environmental Class II standards. For flexibility of installation the MST unit has been designed to be compatible with most common intruder alarm control panels. This offers the potential for security installers to hold a single stock keeping unit to fulfil the needs of a wide range of applications. The MST comes with a five year warranty and has been designed to be simple to fit and set-up with five terminals allowing full connectivity, for single and multiple door configurations, in fully supervised loop and double pole modes.

In terms of tamper protection, the MST features a number of innovations to keep criminals at bay ranging from unique blanking plugs to thwart attempts to interfere with the unit's lid cover screws to an anti-tamper wall for enhanced baseplate protection.
