MCC launches security division

Southampton, Hampshire

The Marketing Content Company (MCC) is launching a Security and Public Safety Division. Led by Simon Hewitt, the team will focus on building the domestic and international profile of hardware, software and services companies working in physical security, IT security and public safety sectors.

MCC is an EFactor group company and its Southampton-based team already has an enviable portfolio of client expertise in the sectors including Nice Systems, TDSi, Multitone, Winfrasoft and EEMA. The team will also be running the press-office at the ISSE (Information Security Solutions Europe) conference taking place in Brussels in October.

Simon Hewitt explains the excitement in working the security sector: "The current rate of innovation in the security sector is mind-blowing. It wasn’t long ago that we would talk about CCTV in the context of analogue and in just a few years we have jumped from megapixel to standardising on HD and now we are looking at 4K.” He adds: "We want to help vendors, installers and systems integrators to capitalise on the boom that is going on in the market right now.”

With a wealth of expertise branching across physical security and IT security, as well as public safety technologies the team is ideally placed to create and deliver campaigns that tap in to the latest developments taking place in the market today. Hewitt continues: "As well as new product innovation it is exciting to see how new and old systems and sensors are being integrated on the IT network and the impact this is having not only in the control room but also the external stakeholders.”

The new division will provide media relations, social media management, customer reference programmes, web design, marketing brochures and product sheets, exhibition support and email marketing services.
