Day/night network camera with support for MPEG-4 and JPEG

Samsung Techwin has introduced the SNC-550, a network camera that supports the choice of either MPEG-4 or JPEG compression with real time transmission at 25 frames per second.
The SNC-550, which is part of Samsung Techwin's iPolis Network/Video over IP product range, is a true day/night camera with a built-in IR cut filter. It is equipped with SSNR, Samsung Super Noise Reduction technology and is therefore able to deliver high resolution images at light levels as low as 0.002 in Sens-up mode without any smear or "ghosting".
Event alarm email notification privacy image masking, on-screen display, dual voltage and motion detection are all built-in as standard whilst there is the option of analogue output through BNC connectors.
The SNC-550 offers PoE (Power over Ethernet) support reducing cabling and installation costs.
