C-TEC appoints new technical account manager

Wigan, UK

Tim Swift

C-TEC has strengthened its technical sales team by recruiting Tim Swift as technical account manager for the South West.

With over 9 years' experience working in the global fire industry, Tim will play a key role in further expanding sales and technical support relating to C-TEC's extensive product range of fire alarm control panels, disabled refuge systems, call systems and disability equipment.

"I am very excited about this opportunity. C-TEC is a forward thinking company which continually introduces innovative products to the market and constantly strives to be the best. I believe my knowledge and expertise can accelerate C-TEC's growth and I am looking forward to working with such a great team of people"

Tim began his career in the military police and worked all over the world before moving into the fire industry. Initially recruited as a mechanical engineer, he rapidly worked his way up into a number of senior sales positions. His most recent post was export account manager for an international sounder manufacturer.

"Tim is very well respected in the industry and I am delighted that we have recruited someone of his calibre to handle all fire specialist accounts in the South West. He joins C-TEC at a very exciting time as we have just released our first-ever disabled refuge system, a range of EN54 compliant power supplies and a revolutionary new HUSH button for Houses of Multiple Occupation. Tim will be responsible for building on this success by creating new business partnerships and consolidating existing customer relationships" says Charlotte Manley, European sales manager, C-TEC.
