The strategic expansion reflects accelerating demand across the region for AI-native proactive security assessment solutions as organisations seek to understand which security weaknesses are truly exploitable and whether their defences can withstand real-world attacker behaviour.
The official opening took place in Amsterdam on 24 June and was attended by Horizon3.ai Co-founder and CEO Snehal Antani, alongside Co-founder Anthony Pillitiere and Keith Poyser, Vice President for EMEA.
The new office will support Horizon3.ai’s rapidly expanding EMEA customer base, channel ecosystem and regional operations. The company is continuing to recruit heavily across the region as enterprises look for more scalable ways to validate cyber resilience, reduce exposure and verify the effectiveness of security controls.
Amsterdam Becomes Horizon3.ai’s EMEA Base
Amsterdam will serve as the central hub for Horizon3.ai’s EMEA operations, supporting customers and partners across key markets. The decision to establish the company’s regional headquarters in the Netherlands was driven by Amsterdam’s world-class talent, digital infrastructure, and international connectivity, making it uniquely positioned for Horizon3.ai’s continued international expansion across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Over the past 12 months, the company's EMEA team has grown by 283%, with further expansion planned as customer demand continues to accelerate. As organisations across the region face growing pressure from boards, regulators, customers and insurers to demonstrate that their security programmes are effective in practice, not just in policy, Horizon3.ai expects its EMEA headcount to increase by an additional 73% by the end of the year.
“At a time when attackers are moving faster and using AI more effectively, organisations need more than vulnerability scans, dashboards and periodic assessments,” said Keith Poyser, Vice President EMEA at Horizon3.ai. “With our focus on exploitability, our Amsterdam headquarters and fast growing regional team here strengthen our ability to support customers across EMEA as they shift to continuous assurance.”
“Cyber security has entered a new phase where confidence alone is not enough,” added Snehal Antani, Co-founder and CEO of Horizon3.ai. “Security teams need the ability to continuously validate their exposure. Our expansion in Amsterdam reflects both the scale of this market transition and our long-term commitment to Europe.”
