Tdsi gains UL certification on Gardis portfolio

Poole, Dorset (UK)

Tdsi Gardis now has now achieved Canadian UL certification

Integrated security manufacturer Tdsi has received UL 294 Certification from the Underwriters Laboratories of Canada Inc. for the Gardis range of Controllers and Extension Modules. The well-respected UL 294 Standard for access control system Units rigorously tests the construction, performance, and operation of physical access control equipment and/or systems to provide a trusted assessment for buyer peace of mind.

John Davies, Managing Director of Tdsi commented, “We are proud to have achieved UL Certification for our Gardis Controllers and Extension Modules. Underwriters Laboratories of Canada Inc. is a well-respected and trusted testing organisation in North America and certification is a clear indication to our customers and partners in the USA, Canada, and beyond that they can rely upon our products to offer the performance, reliability, and strength they need and deserve.”

The UL Certification of Tdsi’s Gardis systems is part of the UK-based manufacturer of integrated security and access control solutions ingress into the US and Canadian security markets, which included an appearance at the GSX 2022 (Global Security Exchange) event in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, earlier this month. The company, which is part of the Vitaprotech Group, was introduced to the US market at GSX in Orlando in September 2021 and made a further appearance at ISC West in Las Vegas in March this year alongside its sister company, intrusion detection and access control manufacturer Protech USA.
