All 28 models include a built-in AI processor enabling up to three different deep learning AI applications running directly on the camera itself. The new line-up is also compatible with the I-Pro Active Guard plug-in (previously called Multi-AI), which unlocks the power to search images based on a variety of attributes. For example, I-Pro Active Guard can classify all individuals wearing a red hat in a specified time frame to assist with finding a person of interest. With AI processing occurring at the edge and reducing the load on the network, I-Pro AI analytics do not require additional equipment allowing customers to maximize their security budgets. I-Pro Analytics are compatible with leading VMS manufacturers such as Genetec and Milestone.
I-Pro’s commitment to innovation and leadership in setting market trends is illustrated by cultivating an open AI strategy, which enables third party applications to be easily integrated by providing developers with a Software Developer Kit (SDK). This openness to third party partnerships gives customers access to a wide range of automation processes and customised applications.
“This extension to our popular S-Series range of cameras brings high quality resolution and precision analytics to the mainstream market for the first time,” highlights Adam Lowenstein, Director of Product Management at I-Pro Americas Inc. “We are continuously expanding our product line-up to meet customer demands. Our focus is to bring AI-based analytics power to more customers. Utilising AI on the Edge brings benefits beyond pure security, by providing enhanced operational and business intelligence.”
The first models in the new S-Series cameras line-up will be available in May, with more models being introduced throughout the Summer. An NDAA and TAA compliant solution, the S-Series cameras harness the power of the advanced Ambarella AI vision processor for AI edge applications.
