City of Industry, Ca

Hikvision has further expanded its Colorvu portfolio with a new Smart Hybrid Light camera lineup. This new camera series allows security professionals to explore a variety of tailored lighting modes, each designed to capture critical event-triggered details in the darkest of environments.

"Our new Colorvu Smart Hybrid Light Cameras introduce intelligent lighting for security end users, allowing them to customize their monitoring experience from the lighting mode down to the body style, AI algorithms, and third-party integrations,” said John Xiao, Vice President of Marketing, Hikvision USA. “This enables systems integrators and installers to unlock greater success in a broad range of markets where cost and performance are determining factors.”

Colorvu Smart Hybrid Light cameras offers users the option to select the required lighting mode tailored to their environment. Users can explore lighting modes which include covert black and white IR, dynamic full-colour, or Smart Mode for adaptive nighttime target detection. In Smart Mode, the camera remains in IR, intelligently switching to colour imaging upon capturing critical event-triggered details. In this way, the camera provides versatile, high-performance security with intelligent illumination to meet specific application needs.

The Colorvu Smart Hybrid Light Camera Series offers versatility with its embedded capabilities. Users can leverage advanced features such as smart perimeter protection with human and vehicle detection for fast video searches. The Hikvision Embedded Open Platform (HEOP) further enhances the user experience by enabling smooth integration with third-party applications.

Available in a bullet, turret, or dome body styles, the Colorvu Smart Hybrid Light cameras are specified with high-definition imagery with resolutions of up to 4K. Integrated Colorvu technology is designed to ensure consistently clear imaging day or night, and to capture precise detail in full colour.
