Vuwall wins best in show in Barcelona

Montreal, Canada and Barcelona, Spain

At ISE 2022 in Barcelona, Vuwall's PAK multi-window decoding node and TRx version 3.1 centralised video wall management software platform has won Best of Show Awards from AV Technology and Sound & Video Contractor magazine, respectively. Winners were selected based on merits of innovation and performance, with the awards presented during the show.

"We strive to innovate video wall installations, their configuration and operation, and their performance as they become more complex," said Paul Vander Plaetse, founder and CEO at Vuwall. "These awards serve not only as a testament of that achievement but also as a reminder for us to continue to create AV-over-IP solutions that further the simplicity, scalability and interoperability that integrators and organisations require. We can't thank AV Technology and Sound & Video Contractor enough for this acknowledgement."

Vuwall's PAK can operate as a standalone device or can be stitched with other PAK nodes to build an IP-based video wall that is infinitely scalable. With the cost-effective and compact appliance, integrators can simplify video wall deployments by reducing the number of connections and eliminating a single point of failure — reducing project risk and offering improved reliability. PAK features four HDp60 outputs or one 4Kp60 output and multi-format decoding of up to 32 HD streams per device, including H.264, NDI and remote desktops, or virtualised browsers using VNC. As part of Vuwall's ecosystem, PAK is managed by the company's award-winning TRx centralised management platform. Easy to set up and configure, PAK is perfectly designed for multi-room visualisation, situational awareness, control rooms and corporate workspaces. Its eco-friendly design boasts a compact form factor and low power consumption. PAK is small enough to be mounted behind monitors, saving rack space and reducing extended video cable runs.
