TKH wins contract at Watertown's leisure and residential complex

Gouda, The Netherlands and Watertown, Ma

TKH Security has been selected to install its Parking Guidance System (PGS) at Arsenal Yards in Watertown, Massachusetts (USA).

Eager to enhance the parking journey at this new development and provide additional guidance and security, Boylston Properties selected TKH Security to install its M4 system in its second garage at Arsenal Yards, aiming to ensure that all patrons are treated to a world-class parking experience.

Arsenal Yards is a 1 million-square-foot mixed-use development in the heart of Watertown’s East End. With unique dining, boutiques, brand-name retail shops, entertainment, a Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton, modern apartments, and three eventual life science buildings, this destination caters to various employees, residents, and visitors.

As guests arrive at the facility, the camera-based smart-sensor system helps parkers navigate two garages on site. The bright, colour-coded LED light rings on the smart-sensors signal which spaces are available and occupied. This helps decrease traffic congestion and reduces the time visitors spend searching for parking.

The M4 system is driven by TKH Security’s new software platform. This cloud-based user interface provides operators with real-time data, dashboards, historical reports, and comparative analyses. This technology platform also encompasses business intelligence modules, service and support access, and optional applications for enhanced functionality and greater control.

“Arsenal Yards will be a fantastic example of how effective smart building technology is a key driver for improving customer mobility and property efficiency. TKH Security is excited to be a part of this mission to continue enhancing the customer experience through new innovations.” Said Robert Wishart, Regional Account Manager, Northeast.

Working with Universal Automation (UA), the installation is scheduled to be ready for use by the summer of 2021.
