Supra extends access coverage with real estate firms in Texas

Salem, Or

The real estate firms are using Supra Ekey for digital access

Supra, a leading global provider of digital solutions for the real estate industry, has announced recent agreements with two leading real estate associations in Texas to deliver its access solutions to over 70,000 Realtor members in the Houston and Dallas metropolitan areas. Supra is a part of Carrier Global Corporation, a leading global provider of healthy, safe, sustainable and intelligent building and cold chain solutions.

Both agreements extend existing contracts with Supra and supply Supra’s digital Ekey service as the preferred method of access to listings. Real estate professionals who subscribe to Supra’s service can use the Ekey mobile app to connect with Supra lockboxes, facilitating seamless property access.

The Houston Association of Realtors is the second largest real estate association in the U.S., with 47,000 members. “Supra digital solutions enable our members to deliver best-in-class service in the buying and selling process during this historic period of demand for housing in the Houston market,” said Shawn Dauphine, Director of MLS, Houston Association of Realtors.

Metrotex Association of Realtors, based in Grapevine, Texas, has nearly 26,000 members and is the largest Realtor association in North Texas and fifth largest in the U.S. “We are pleased to extend our 29-year relationship with Supra and continue to provide our members best-in-class tools to facilitate seamless property access,” said Janet Kane, Chief Executive Officer, Metrotex. “Supra solutions empower our members to deliver superior service to their clients.”

Over 1 million real estate professionals use the Supra Ekey app, which provides the ability to securely set lockbox access hours, track lockbox inventory, customise codes and get real-time notifications on showings. Part of the agreement extensions for the associations involved campaigns to upgrade agents from hardware keys to the Ekey app, bringing the memberships to all-digital access.

Supra’s electronic lockbox system with the Ekey app enables easier administration and support for the associations, while setting the foundation for additional digital services for keyholders and brokerages. Benefits include remote installation and programming of Supra lockboxes, eliminating the need for agents to physically go into the association office. Agents can receive their Ekey authorisation via email.

The Supra system is used by over 500 real estate organisations in U.S., Canada, and Asia-Pacific regions. It facilitates 75% of all home showings by networked electronic lockboxes, growing to over 46 million showings in 2021, with 3.6 million lockboxes in the field.

Carrier Global Corporation, Supra’s parent company, recently announced its acquisition of Brokerbay Inc., a leading digital real estate solutions provider and a pioneer in the development of an advanced, streamlined and user-friendly real estate management cloud ecosystem. Supra, with showing management powered by Brokerbay, will offer a one-stop shop for real estate professionals that combines scheduling and mobile lockbox access in an intuitive, user-friendly showing experience to empower agents, reduce workload and provide actionable analytics.

“We look forward to continuing our strong relationships with customers and offering additional Supra tools to streamline showings for agents and reduce workloads at brokerages,” said J. Lush, Vice President of Sales, Supra.

The showing management platform is the first of several digital services to be introduced by Supra. The tools will combine to form a cohesive, broad solution to better suit the needs of real estate agents and their clients, along with a wide breadth of players throughout the process including brokerages, affiliates and trusted service providers.
