Next week at ISC West in Las Vegas, following a year of strategic acquisitions and technology investments, Dormakaba North America will be demonstrating how its new products and service capabilities come together to support customers in high-demand environments such as healthcare, airports, and data centres.

The company plans to highlight how recent activity helps customers deploy, manage, and scale access control solutions with greater confidence and consistency. This customer-led approach is being supported by David Fuller, Chief Innovation Officer at Dormakaba, who is responsible for advancing the company’s innovation strategy and translating emerging technologies into real-world solutions for the North American market.

“Our growth is shaped by what our customers need to do next,” Fuller said. “Across the access control market, we are seeing demand shift toward more connected, data-driven environments where technologies need to work together as part of a unified ecosystem. Our investments are focused on helping customers balance security, convenience, and scalability. At ISC West, we are showing how our technology and delivery capabilities work together to support our customers’ efficiency as well as our own.”

Targeted investments

Since last year’s show, Dormakaba strengthened its position in high-security and critical infrastructure environments through a series of targeted investments. Many will be represented at ISC West, and the following will each have their own presence at ISC West.

Most recently, Dormakaba became a strategic investor in Swiftconnect. The company, its connected access network platform, and end-to-end custom integration solutions are an ideal complement to Dormakaba's global access solutions business. Swiftconnect will exhibit at the Sage Security Experience Centre at ISC West.

The acquisition of Avant-Garde Systems in December 2025 represents a strategic investment in Dormakaba’s ability to deliver and service secured entrance solutions at scale, addressing growing customer demand for partners who can ensure systems are implemented correctly and sustained over time.

In November 2025, Dormakaba made a venture investment in Realsense, a pioneer in AI-powered computer vision, and partnered to deliver next-generation intelligent access control solutions.

Dormakaba acquired Tanlock in July 2025 to enhance its offerings and drive further growth in the data center market, focusing on the U.S. both for new construction and retrofit projects.

The company also made a technology investment in February 2025 with Safetrust, a fast-growing global secure identity and access solutions company with a strong focus on North America.
