TR Services Serbia, the AV integrator on the project, was seeking a solution to manage and control the 5 new video walls they were ready to install at Belgrade Airport’s revamped Control Center. The customer was looking for a powerful, scalable and easy to use system to monitor cameras as well as specific web applications. They requested the ability to create an unlimited number of layouts and presets. The required an extremely low MTBF and an easy & fast recovery time to ensure business and operational continuity. They also highlighted the importance of information and access security, requiring advanced user rights management.

The solution included the installation of five new video walls (5×3, 3×3, 4×3) in the main control room and conference room. These consist of Samsung’s 55″ thin bezel LCD displays, and to power them, TR Services Serbia installed 4 PAK units, as well as 10 Vustream 150 encoders, and 1 Application Server. All of these are controlled and managed by Vuwall’s TRX software platform. In addition, the client purchased a Controlvu PoE touch panel to quickly and easily change layouts and views.

Today, the Belgrade International Airport (BEG) is proud to have the most advanced control system, providing them the reliability, scalability, security, and ease of use that they were seeking. They are now able to quickly and easily create and recall layouts that they can display for visualisation on a portion or on the entire video wall. And according to Vuwall, the ease of use of TRX and Controlvu has greatly improved airport operations and response times.
