AFI consolidates 2020 and sets strategy goals for 2021

St Petersburg, Fl

American Fibertek has said “goodbye” to an unprecedented 2020 and is welcoming in  2021 with new products, systems, and partners.

Through a tumultuous 2020 for the world over, American Fibertek weathered the component shortages by proactively sourcing from multiple companies and locations. The company reduced the amount of duplicate and redundant products and increased the amount of commercially available solutions.

AFI elected to move its entire operation from New Jersey to Florida in order to expand and grow the organisation. And, now the company is a woman-owned small business, and its new location in sunny Saint Petersburg is in a Hubzone, where the continue to operate its ethos of being an American-Made security and network solution manufacturer.

After learning of the Interlogix product cancellations, American Fibertek stepped up to quickly fill in and support the former Interlogix customers’ still existent needs. The firm has  even designed Interlogix R3 rack versions of some of its top sellers. American Fibertek continues to support the legacy technologies as we plan for the future.

American Fibertek has set its 2021 goals to include:

1. Expansion of product portfolio via customer feedback

2. Reduction in build time (lead time) to within 1 week of order entry

3. Reduction of costs
