Stockholm, Sweden

Liljana Vall, the company's Head of People and Culture, with Addsecure's Bronze Magnet Award

Fast-growing IoT company, Addsecure, has just received an award for its initiative "One company, one culture" during the Magnet Awards yesterday, a competition designed to recognise Sweden's best and most efficient in employer communication.

Magnet Awards is a non-profit project that annually organises the Swedish Championships in Employer Branding, a competition that pays tribute to employers who make a difference. The competition, which is the largest of its kind, highlights the best companies in Sweden in terms of employer communication. Addsecure was awarded the bronze medal in the international class for their "One company, one culture" programme and faced tough competition from H&M and Sandvik.

The jury's motivation was described as, “Merging cultures from different acquired companies and creating commitment is very challenging and there are few companies that have really succeeded in this. However, this is something we saw examples of here. Addsecure has, in a strategic and inspiring way, for several years built a strong positive corporate culture and cross-border unity between both national and previous corporate borders. The results have not been long in coming. The jury is very impressed with the successful KPIs that are presented and can only say hats off to Addsecure for a job well done.”

“We are very proud of this award, which is proof that the long-term work with our corporate culture and values has made a clear mark both within and outside our organisation. Our corporate culture programme has been implemented with great commitment by several colleagues around Europe and we are delighted that this work has been recognised with such a prestigious award", said Liljana Vall, Chief People & Culture at Addsecure.

For the fast-growing IoT company, that over the past five years has gone from 125 employees in Sweden and Norway to 950 employees in 15 countries, it has been important to work in a structured way when building a common corporate culture.

“We see our strong corporate culture, Addculture, as a competitive advantage. Addculture is crucial for our solid employee commitment and our ability to recruit and retain employees. It also affects the work we perform, our organisation, and our sales, says Stefan Albertsson, CEO of Addsecure.

The competition has seven categories, and all entries are evaluated in strategy and implementation, creativity, and effect. The international class, in which Addsecure competed, highlights Swedish operations abroad and the communication of foreign employers in Sweden, where the company has worked successfully with its employer brand.

The jury for the Magnet Awards consisted of Johan Åhlén (Chairman), Director Global Marketing & Brand, AFRY; Malin Brant-Lundin, Global Head of Employer Branding, SEB; Vasco Castro, Global Leader of Employer Branding Ikea; Birgitta Mortensen, Change Management Manager - Leadership & Culture, Rexel; Paulina Ekvall, EVP HR, Billerudkorsnäs and Cathy Andreasson, Employer Branding Specialist, H&M Group.

Addsecure collaborates with the agency Wildfire for the communication concept "One company, one culture" which includes workshops, events, films, presentations, the ambassador programme Culture Club, and a Playbook amongst other activities.
