Schmitz Cargobull and Addsecure have already achieved significant success with major fleet customers and will now extend their joint sales approach to benefit their mutual customer base. Through their collaboration between telematics data from Schmitz Cargobull trailers and telematics-equipped trucks, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) information is now made available to transport and logistics companies. This collaboration aims to streamline fleet management, drive digitalisation, and offer scalable solutions for fleet operators.
Seamless transfer of telematics data
Transport and logistics companies will benefit from a unified application that seamlessly transfers telematics data from Schmitz Cargobull trailers and telematics-equipped trucks into the Fleetvision portal by Addsecure. This integration is achieved through Schmitz Cargobull’s Trailerconnect Data Management Center, which provides transport and logistics companies with centralised, secure, and flexible data management. No additional hardware or manual setup is required. The solution can be used immediately upon delivery. As a result, it significantly reduces IT workload, saving both time and costs and increases data connectivity.
Deeper cooperation
Beyond this launch, both companies aim to deepen their cooperation on retrofit solutions for cold chain transport, enabling safer, more sustainable, and more efficient fleet operations.
“Our ambition is providing best in class telematics benefits for our customers together with Addsecure” says Dr. Cafer Ince, Head of Product Line Digital Services & Managing Director Cargobull Telematics & KubikX GmbH.
Claes Ödman, President of Smart Transport at Addsecure, adds: “Partnering with Schmitz Cargobull allows us to deliver a solution that sets new standards across Europe. The automatic integration of vehicle data into Fleetvision enables next-generation fleet management—secure, intelligent, and sustainable.”
