LEP is the commercial department of the government, responsible for business activities not only in Leeds, but also in the greater Leeds City Region. The delegation’s revisit to Dahua this time is to seek a better understanding of Dahua Technology and its products and solutions, especially the Dahua Technology projects in the UK.
Michael Chen warmly welcomed the delegation led by Roger Marsh. He presented Dahua’s latest products and solutions, and accompanied them to visit the Dahua Exhibition Hall. Michael Chen said that Dahua had gathered rich experience not only in the video surveillance industry, but also in advanced applications like intelligent robots and machine vision, pushing forward the era of video+. During the meeting, the delegation showed strong interest in Dahua solutions such as the safe city, an advanced solution that Dahua created to enable police, transportation authorities and other departments to deal with safety threats using less police manpower but delivering a faster response.
LEP’s second visit to Dahua is in line with Dahuas core value of openness according to the company -- its pursuit of an open and connected network to drive the establishment of the security industry eco system. Dahua will continue with its investment in international markets to build a stronger overseas organisation with extensive coverage and resources to support customers locally.
