Iloq partners with student housing foundation

Espoo, Finland

Through its partners, Iloq provides unique, self-powered locking and access control solutions for apartments rented by VOAS.

Iloq has signed a framework agreement with the Vaasa Student Housing Foundation (VOAS). With the signed agreement, VOAS is in an even better position to equip its properties with Iloq's unique digital lock and access control solutions.

“Iloq solutions enable VOAS to better maintain the safety of residents and enable flexible access control in different situations. For example, Iloq's locking system allows for the remote removal of lost keys, keeping the security of the system always up to date. Access rights can be granted separately to common leisure facilities, laundry rooms, bicycle storages, garages and, of course, sauna facilities important to residents. All the necessary access rights can be programmed to the same key that the resident uses to open the door of their own apartment,” states Marko Ylimäki, Managing Director from VOAS.“The cost-effectiveness of the locking system also played an important role for us, as unnecessary re-serialisation costs are completely eliminated in the new system,” Mr Ylimäki continues.

“For us, this is an important agreement and shows how significant our customers perceive the benefits of digital access management in their own operations. We are very pleased to be able to deepen our cooperation with VOAS,” states Iloq Sales Director, Toni Päivinen.

Through its partners, Iloq provides unique, self-powered locking and access control solutions for apartments rented by VOAS when their locking systems are renewed. The agreement aims to increase cooperation between Iloq and VOAS and will bring Iloq's proprietary locking and access control solutions to more and more residents.
